APT Amstelveen handles your personal data with care. This page explains which data we collect, why we collect it and what rights you have.

What data we collect
We only collect data you give us yourself. Through the contact form on this website, that is:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Your preferred trainer (optional)
- Your availability (optional)
- Your message about your goal
If you contact us directly by email, by phone or through one of our trainers, we process the data you share with us. Please do not share medical information in the contact form. Injuries, complaints or other health information are discussed in person during the intro session.
What we use your data for
We use your data to:
- Contact you and schedule an intro session
- Forward your request to the trainer of your choice
- Answer your questions
- Carry out a personal training agreement, if one follows
The legal basis is the performance of a contract, or the steps taken at your request before entering into one. We do not use your data for marketing and never sell it to third parties.
How we process your data
A submitted contact form is delivered by email to info@apt-amstelveen.nl. The website does not store your data in a database. To send that email we use Mailjet, an email service with servers in the European Union. This website is hosted on servers in the European Union.
Retention
We keep your request for as long as needed to handle it, and no longer than twelve months after our last contact. If you become a client, we keep the data needed for the agreement and our administration for as long as the law requires. For financial records that is seven years.
Sharing with third parties
We only share your data with parties needed to provide our service:
- Our trainers, when you choose a preferred trainer or schedule an intro session
- Mailjet, for sending email from the contact form
- Our hosting provider, for running this website
Agreements on security and confidentiality are in place with these parties. We do not transfer your data outside the European Economic Area unless one of these parties has appropriate safeguards in place.
Cookies and external services
This website does not set cookies of its own and uses no analytics or tracking. Fonts and videos are loaded from our own server.
The contact page contains a Google Maps embed. When that map loads, Google may set cookies and process data such as your IP address. Google's privacy policy applies. Links to Instagram and TikTok only open those platforms when you click them.
Security
The connection to this website is encrypted (HTTPS). Contact form input is validated and filtered before it is sent. Only the people handling your request have access to your data.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data
- Have your data corrected or deleted
- Restrict or object to the processing
- Receive your data in a common file format
Send your request to info@apt-amstelveen.nl. We respond within four weeks. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Minors
If you are under 16, ask a parent or guardian for permission before using the contact form.
Changes
We may update this privacy policy. The latest version is always on this page, with the date of the last change at the top.
